Wireless communications have become the cornerstone of modern society and the necessities of everyday life. The course will provide a complete view for wireless communications from system perspective to radio-frequency/analog/mixed-signal integrated circuit design. The course will firstly introduce the basic concepts in integrated circuit design and wireless communications, such as noise, linearity, modulation scheme, mobile systems and wireless standards. It then will cover passive integrated circuits, active integrated circuits and system architectures.
